The house

Another look atour own country

On place Monge, a short walk from Chambéry’s old town, the Carré Curial and the Théâtre Malraux. Michel Naas and his team have welcomed guests here since 2007, around cooking that is flavourful and contemporary, inspired by the seasons and local produce.

The terroir, without the clichés

The specialities are here: the fondues are made with a house blend of Beaufort, Abondance and Savoie mountain cheese, the raclette is a Savoie PGI, and the berthoud is made with Abondance cheese.

Alongside them, head chef Christophe Flicker and his brigade cook with the seasons: fresh produce always leads, and the menu moves through the year. Pork pluma with chestnut, Savoie trout quenelles gratinated with leek, mont-blanc tiramisu.

The house has held the Maître Restaurateur title since 2013, by prefectoral order of 30 April 2013. It is a state title, granted by the prefecture after an independent audit, created to single out professionals who cook on site, from mostly fresh raw produce, without resorting to assembled dishes.
